While career skills are important and necessary to consider as part of a quality education, the enduring value of a liberal arts component is evident.
Many institutions, including military academies, are not only maintaining their liberal arts traditions but emphasizing them.Broad-scale and critical thinking skills are two of the key components that employers said they look for in job candidates as well, providing career and intrinsic value to a strong liberal arts component to a college education today.
As a state comprehensive institution, FHSU’s mission focuses on providing a balance of liberal arts and career-based education. How can we maintain that balance in a new Liberal Education program?
